Experience
- Handling complex cross-border commercial disputes, including experiences in successfully challenging the Hong Kong Court’s jurisdiction in winding up cases in the Chinese Mainland, resulting in a stay of the Hong Kong proceedings
- Handling a wide range of contractual disputes and shareholder disputes and taking out various interlocutory reliefs favourable to clients, including applications for third party discovery, pre-action discovery, striking out of pleadings, and interim injunction
- Representing victims of fraud and online scams in recovery and tracing proceedings, successfully securing the return of losses for clients
- Acting for various stakeholders (creditors, debtors, liquidators, and trustees in bankruptcy) in multiple winding-up and bankruptcy matters, as well as related appeal proceedings
- Advising on and handling land and tenancy litigation, encompassing adverse possession claims, lease disputes, breaches of deed of mutual covenant, and related issues.
- Advising on various employment and labour disputes, covering unreasonable dismissal, review of employment contract terms, and proceedings before the Labour Tribunal.
